Show Notes

THIS EPISODE CONTAINS ONLY LIGHT SPOILERS HONEST NO REALLY WE PROMISE NOT TO TELL YOU WHO DID IT

In this week's episode, Val gets to talk about a horror film about horror films!

"Tesis" is a film about why we like horror. Why stories of violence and death attract us, rather than repel us. Val gives us an overview of the plot and compares it to the Found Footage, Torture Porn and Giallo sub-genres.

This gives Val the opportunity to go off on an irrelevant bloody tangent and give a quick potted overview on Giallo movies, in case you have never bumped into Sergio Martino or Dario Argento before.

In fact, there are a lot of irrelevant tangents in this episode. Including sections on fake interviews with pretend Italians, snuff films, patronising interviewers and angry monkeys. Trust us, it will all make sense in he end.

AND SERIOUSLY NO MAJOR SPOILERS. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT ROSEBUD IS, OR IF ANYONE DIES IN INFINITY WARS THIS IS THE PODCAST FOR YOU.
